Concept & Design - Frank K T
Bagasse as it emerges from sugar factory as a waste is procured in loose or bale form with 48-50% moisture. Bagasse being a seasonal product during sugar factories crushing season about 4-5 months, EIL shall buy its annual requirements and stack it in the factory premises with well designed style which prevents the deterioration and quality of bagasse. This storage shall also helps in reducing moisture to 30-35% thus save energy in drying the fibre in process.
These bagasse bales are fed to the bale breaker and the loose bagasse is fed to the depither to depith bagasse and separate fiber. Bagasse Fiber is dried in dryer to bring down the moisture on or about 2-5% and the same is screened. Coarse fiber is subjected to sizing in the machines and finally with proper bagasse fiber geometry, is divided into fine and coarse material.
The dried and sized material is mixed with glue binders and conveyed to forming station where the above glued bagasse is formed in 3 layers, coarse in the middle, fines in top and bottom side and conveyed through caul plates passed through pre press to consolidate the mat. The mat is made of glued bagasse. Then passed on to the hot press and subjected to high pressure with high temperature. These bagasse boards are made at different thicknesses. The boards are allowed to cure for a day or two and then subjected to sanding to obtain smooth surface and to relieve loose material in the surface and to have uniform thickness of the board.
Thereafter as per the market requirement some bagasse boards are sold unlaminated for market use and some are pressed with base paper to make the bagasse boards water resistant, bagasse being hygroscopic material, to ensure durability. Finally the aim of the production is to use non conventional renewable bagasse waste to protect felling the fully grown tree being used for wood and plywood needs of the population conventionally which is degrading environment, you will appreciate.
Save the tree & conserve forest wealth is the motto of the Company manufacturing particle boards from renewable agri residues like sugar cane bagasse etc to protect environment besides rural employment, rural development and further help poor farmer with price for his renewable agri residues, hitherto burnt that was causing again CO2 emissions detrimental in degrading environment.
Plain Particle Board
100% wood free smooth surface and excellent bonding strength, High durability, Easy maintenance, Excellent machinability, Dimensional stability, More economical, saves time and labor, No wrapping or deformation, Moisture resistance, Fire retardant, High resistance to abrasion, Termite resistance, Excellent screw holding capacity.
Laminated Particle Board
100% wood free and laminated with imported paper. High durability, Easy maintenance, Excellent machinability, Dimensional stability, More economical, saves time and labor, No wrapping or deformation, Moisture resistance, Fire retardant, High resistance to abrasion, Termite resistance, Excellent screw holding capacity.
